I had the opportunity to photograph Brianna's senior photos and they are some of my favorites to date! Brianna is a sweetheart and I'm so happy I got to hang out with her and her kind family for her session. I even got to meet Riddler, her horse. He's a beauty and is HUGE! Her love for him is undeniable and it's just the cutest.
When I worked in the corporate world, Lan was my cubical neighbor. She was a great neighbor too! We had the only two cubicles tucked away in the corner of the 37th floor and since we had such great window light, we adopted some plant babies. My plant babies didn't do too well but Lan definitely had a green thumb and she was the best plant mama. Now, several years later, she's the mother of two adorable children and she's an even better human mama! I'm so happy that I was able to capture baby Caleb in all his newborn glory!
Kristina found me on Instagram and wanted to take birthday photos and the graduation photos she never got around to doing when she graduated. She loved the light and airy type of photos so Brazos Bend State Park was definitely the right choice. It's quite the drive but it is my favorite location to shoot at! The light is just amazing there!
Melody is one of my favorite people. Not only is she an awesome hair stylist, she is just an awesome person. She has the best outlook on life and a personality that fills the room. When she reached out wanting me to take her son's fourth birthday photos, I was honored! It was a hot day but we had a good time and who knew Lincoln would be such a good little model?! He's such a cute, sweet and well behaved little boy. Happy fourth birthday, Lincoln!
I was so excited when Jackie found Photos by Arena on Facebook and asked me to take their family photos and Chelsea's birthday photos. They're such a lovely family and Chelsea was so cute and SO excited for her tea party! She cracked me up several times during her photo session! I think my favorite part was when she just couldn't stop laughing at me being attacked by the cow puppet. :)
We got lots of great shots that I'm excited to share!
How cute is that tea party!?!
Jackie, thank you again for letting me photograph your family! I loved getting to know everyone and it was so much fun capturing these special moments for your family! I hope Chelsea had an amazing third birthday!
Not only did I get to celebrate my Mom this Mother's Day weekend, I got to meet a gorgeous and very sweet mother-to-be for her maternity photos. I'm so glad we found each other because she was the perfect match for the type of maternity session I've been dreaming of! Luckily, she knew just where to go for oak trees with spanish moss. We met at Brazos Bend State Park and it was a drive for me but 100% worth it! I cannot wait to go back! Who wants to do a session there?!

I was so excited when Jennifer reached out to me about doing a family photo shoot with her sister's family and her parents. What a great memory to have documented for the grandkids! Personally, it's something that I think my own family needs to do. We have a million pictures of my niece (the only grandchild) but none of all of us together. I'm working on getting everyone together and convinced - we're not the most photogenic family! :) That's not the case for Jennifer's family though. From their color coordinated outfits to their animated kids, it was a fun time! Especially when we got to see a train pass by and I witnessed the pure excitement and joy on Marcus' face (it was adorable).
It's always hard for me to pick my favorites, so here's a few highlights from our session.
